Texas-Style Barbecue Arrives at Travis Air Force Base with New Dickey’s Barbecue Pit

Fairfield, CA — The city of Fairfield and those serving at Travis Air Force Base will soon get a taste of Texas-style brisket when Dickey’s Barbecue Pit opens on Thursday, October 2 at 11 a.m. The new fast-causal barbecue restaurant is throwing a three day grand opening celebration.  The first 50 dine in guests receive gift cards worth up to $50.

“Our new restaurant is near Travis Air Force Base and we wanted to introduce them to Texas style barbecue,” said multi-unit owner, John Sanchez. “We have many Fairfield residents who have been going over to our Vacaville location and we’re excited they will now have a Dickey’s in Fairfield.”
