Winston Salem Duo Win Mainstream Boutique’s Top Franchise Awards

Winston Salem, NC — Mainstream Boutique, a national women’s fashion and accessories boutique franchise, honored Winston Salem’s mother-daughter team Charlotte Parris and Anitra Mitchell with a Franchise of the Year Award. The duo also was honored for their tremendous growth with doubling the size of their business from 2012 to 2013.

Anitra Mitchell and Charlotte Parris, former stay-at-home mom and Vice President of a commercial flooring company respectively, purchased their Mainstream Boutique franchise in June of 2011. Finding great success through multi-channel trunk and vendor shows, the team quickly grew their business across the region and set roots at a storefront location in August 2012 to support Winston Salem’s increasing demand for the affordable fashions they were providing. This success led them to be honored as the top franchise in the system, as well as the company’s Outstanding Growth Award.

“We are honored to be recognized for our success. The Mainstream Boutique franchise system is truly a supportive community that has helped my family achieve our professional and personal goals,” said Anitra Mitchell, co-owner of Winston Salem’s Mainstream Boutique. “Each day we look forward to sharing our passion for unique and affordable styles with the women of the Triad.  We love to help women feel good about themselves and have fun doing it.”

With the buying power of large department stores, but the individuality of an independent boutique, Mainstream Boutique fills the space between the two, creating the best of both worlds for both shop owners and customers. Unlike large department stores that have huge volumes of merchandise, Mainstream Boutique’s 1,500 square-foot locations have constantly updated inventory allowing customers to find new, on-trend items on a weekly basis.

“Anitra and Charlotte demonstrate outstanding leadership, keen business acumen and, above all, and unwavering sense of style. We are proud to call them members of our family, as should the Winston Salem business community,” said Marie DeNicola, Founder and CEO of Mainstream Boutique. “For the Winston Salem team, these awards are not only a reflection of how well they have done, but motivation to continually grow and improve the business.”
