Provide an overview/ description of your industry. Include reasons why it’s a great industry to start a business in today. 

Prepaid cards are a billion dollar industry, and growing. People use these products to save money every day.

How has your industry changed in the last 10 years? 20 years? 

More and more people are finding out that prepaid cards can save them money every day, up to 70% or more in the cost of phone calls.

What trends do you see in your industry over the next 5 years? Next 10 years? 

We see more electronic enhancement of the products, to allow customizable features, and to more effectively incentivize retailers and customers.

What is the biggest concern about your industry that a franchisee candidate should be aware of and investigate? 

You must be able to travel by car in your area, and you must be able to get along with people in a friendly business environment, those are key.

Why do you think your company stands out in the industry? 

The value to the customer, everything else and all success is a derivative of that one objective.

What makes your franchise/ business opportunity more attractive than your competitor’s? 

We are the only prepaid card distributorship opportunity in Canada.

Describe the ideal candidate. Do you think your requirements are any different than your competitor’s? 

People skills are the most important attribute.

What’s the strongest skill you require in a candidate? 

Ability to work with others, and to be prompt, and courteous with everyone.

Describe the working environment of your franchisees.  Is your environment typical of other companies in your industry? 

Travel to your retailers once every week or two, and discuss their sales, then restock the retailer, and collect the income.

Why has your company been successful? 

We deliver the best value to the end user, the customer.

What advice would you give someone interested in buying a franchise in your industry?  

Make sure the product delivers good value to the customer.

How much experience in this industry should a franchisee candidate have should they consider buying a franchise in your industry?
